Grand Massif Samoëns Morillon France

We are a family with 3 children aged 8 and under. I was slightly worried ahead of the trip due to some of the reviews here but we had an incredible stay. The food, skiing, kids club, hotel rooms and facilities were all amazing and everything was so well organised. Shout out to Pascal, Jason and team for always being so helpful and friendly and our ski instructor Nicolas for great lessons and local info! We will definitely be back next year.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at the Club Med Grand Massif Sameons.
This was our third club med winter trip and it was our best experience yet!
The hotel can be a little confusing at first due to the floors and lift system but once you learn to navigate it you really get to enjoy it. The property is new and well maintained.
As we had completed the pre-checkin email, upon arrival the actual check in process was very straight forwards.
We had interconnected rooms which were airy, bright and spacious enough.

The kids club is conveniently located next to the lockers and access to the piste.
Speaking of kids club, both our children (7 & 9) had an absolute blast! And they even joined the evening activities. There were kids from lots of backgrounds and English was widely spoken by all the kids and the GO team. The GO team were truly fantastic; attentive and extremely helpful, they really knew what they were doing. The kids particularly enjoyed Bobby’s company and his trike!

The food was varied and there were plenty of choices for the whole family. The house wine was very drinkable and readily available.

The pool area is good however the main pool’s temperature was a little too cold.
The sauna and steam room were available and regularly used.

A couple of suggestions for Club Med -

• It would be great if parents bracelets could also open kids rooms/ lockers
• Have a sales rep available to discuss potential future bookings with guests
• Heat up the indoor pool - it is too cold

Nous avons passé un week end avec mon conjoint, une équipe Go présente, l’ambiance au rendez vous pour ce week end de fermeture! Un grand merci à Lara pour son accueil et sa joie de vivre tout au long du séjour et à Yoan, chef de village, pour son accueil et son dynamisme.

Un beau séjour de quelques jours dans ce village. Le site est très beau et offre des vues magnifiques sur les montagnes. Tout est extrêmement propre. La restauration est bonne malgré le manque criant de légumes.
Le groupe ESF dirige par popeye était un régal et nous a permis de découvrir l’ensemble de la station.
Alors pourquoi une étoile en moins?
Nous avons certainement pâti encore une fois du fait que c’était la fin de saison. Un accueil un peu chaotique car les chambres étaient mal réparties malgré qu’on ait pris le temps d’appeler auparavant pour donner toutes les précisions nécessaires. Nous avons également été étonnés de ne pas trouver le matériel loué à l’avance dans les casiers comme nous en avons l’habitude.
Le club était loin d’être plein mais avec un nombre de français très limité. Donc des GO notamment au bar et au service qui ne parlaient pas un mot de français. Un peu dommage. Et nous confirmons: un chef de village absent. Comme l’ambiance.
Un ciel bleu pendant 4 jours incroyables mais très peu d’animations extérieures. Dommage que la terrasse soit si peu friendly et si peu exploitée. À redécouvrir en pleine saison certainement.
